For a long time, I thought I needed to follow the path.
- You study marketing.
- You apply frameworks.
- You optimize strategies.
- You chase performance.
And while I understand all of that: I’ve done it, executed it, and delivered results, something always felt slightly off.
Because most marketing today doesn’t start with the person.
It starts with the outcome.
Templates.
Trends.
Tactics.
And then somewhere along the way, the founder’s voice gets lost.
I saw it happen too many times.
Brilliant people with powerful ideas reduced into generic messaging that “works” but doesn’t feel like them.
That’s when I stepped back.
And asked myself:
What actually makes my work different?
The answer was simple.
I listen differently.
I don’t start with strategy.
I start with the story.
